So I wear a bun in my hair at least 3 days out of the week. I love that you can make it 'messy' with a pouf and wear it with an evening gown or going to run errands or you can do a tight bun for the office. I just love it. With my hair I have to always use a new hair tie (so that it's not stretched out) or a billion bobby pins.
I saw a commercial for this Spin Pin made by Goody. I had to give it a try. It comes with two of them in a package for $5.99 and IT WORKS! It's awesome! You twist your hair into a bun and spin one from the top and one from the bottom (make sure not to interlock them) and it holds! It feels more secure than a hair tie or bobby pins.

    I was wondering if this worked, since bobby pins and rubber bands don't work with my hair...I'll have to try it now!
