Craftwhore
This past Saturday one of my best friends had a baby shower for her baby girl. I love baby showers because it's an excuse for me to get crafty, and baby stuff is SO easy! Here's a few things I made for it: Newborn Snow White Tutu, Binky Clips, Hooded Baby Swaddler (tutorial is here), Baby Blanket and some Washcloth 'Cupcakes'.
I also found a few of these photos from our time back in Tampa I never posted.

Craft it up!
I've
been sewing away like there is no tomorrow. With my 5 day weekend (yay) I
feel like that's all I've been doing. Well that, reading (I'm a HUGE
book nerd, I'll post a review of the series I'm reading shortly) and
shopping.
I'm happy to say one of my friends found out she's having a GIRL (seriously, everyone is pregnant)! I'm SO excited that I finally have a reason to make cute, frilly & girly things! And boy have I!
I've also been asked (and told) to start an Etsy shop. Hmm. I'm on the fence. I have this worry it'll start taking the fun out of it, but who doesn't like extra money?! Something to think about..

I
started (and finished) this last night after seeing a picture
somewhere. I've made a few aggravating mistakes, but overall it turned
out pretty well.. My Cinderella work apron!
I
also made a small Joann's run and this is what I got. The main reason
for going was for new scissors, but I couldn't pass up half off fabric!
As
you can see the soft (minky?) fabric was $14.99/yd and at 0.806 yd it =
$12.08, except all pre-cut fabric that people didn't buy is 50% at
Joann's, so it was $6.04. The pink baby flannel fabric I scored 0.50 yd
for a little over $1.50
They usually have the bin(s) near the cutting station.
My small Joann's haul cost me $24.67 total. The scissors were obviously the most expensive, but I saved $15.49!!
With my 40% off one full priced item coupon I received through email
and a 15% off entire purchase coupon I pulled up on their website while
also scoring the on sale fabric!
SIGN UP YOUR EMAIL AT THE JOANN'S WEBSITE FOR COUPONS!
And finally, I'm happy to say we (my husband) found my charger for my DSLR! YES! So obviously that means quality of the pictures should improve some!!
