Been awhile (besdies my award!) and a question

I feel like I've neglected my blogging, but it's just been so busy! I'm sure you've noticed the change to the blog. I couldn't make anything I liked and I don't want to pay someone to do it so I finally found a lady that has a lot of free stuff that is awesome!. My birthday was last Friday! :) We didn't do much because I worked until closing and worked the next day. We did get to go out to dinner though, which was nice. One of the ladies got fired at work so we've all been picking up extra shifts, which I'm definitely not complaining about. More hours = more money, which = a happier me. Lol! School is well.. school. Nothing new. The car is still awesome, but it's a huge shocker with the MPG. I was getting 23 to 25 MPG city in the Passat and now I'm averaging 17. At least I don't have to put premium so that saves me about $15 every time I fill up.

We've been having problems with USAA again (what's new). I know many people rave about them, but for us it's been a nightmare. Between their checking and now their insurance it's getting ridiculous. Every time I call to change our policy or make a payment our monthly payment keeps going up.. by a lot. By over $200!! This last time I called our monthly payment went up to $424. That does include both cars, personal prop (which is only $5 a month) and renters insurance which is about $25 a month. I have NO idea how they are coming up with $400something, but I'm getting really really irritated. No one can ever give me a real answer as to why it keeps increasing. They were suppose to take half of it out on the 15 and guess what?! They didn't. I logged in online last night and what it says I owe online is about half of what they are telling me on the phone. Needless to say I'm pissed. I've been looking at other insurance companies and it's just such a headache. So I'm going to ask.. what insurance company do YOU have? I know I'm going to get a lot of comments about USAA and I know we aren't the norm.
