So we drove home with a Ford Edge last night. I drove the Murano and was still in love with the edge (and it had more room). Of course we sat there and 'haggled' back and forth for hours. It's higher than what we both wanted, but I'm happy. Well for the most part. Now I'm thinking, do we really need this car? Do we really need the higher payment and to put that money down? Do you get buyers remorse? Part of me feels like they are going to call and say "Oh! We need more money down or a higher interest rate", which has happened to us before. If that's the case, I'll be getting Patty back and we'll just be fixing it. I hate making big purchases.
My husband and I have been talking about getting a new car, but honestly the one we have now works just fine, and probably has at least another year or two of life in it. We spent the whole deployment saving money...I'd hate to see us blow it all as soon as he gets home.
I hope your buyers remorse goes away!!

I do. Big purchases TERRIFY me.
ReplyDeleteYay! I love new followers!
ReplyDeleteI wanted a new car, but was willing to keep the Passat until it started having problems every month. But I'm happy with the Edge. It's perfect! :)
