Let me just say

I HATE HATE HATE (can't emphasize that enough) when women wear or put stickers on their car that says "Air Force wife, toughest job in military". This goes for any branch, not just USAF. I can't understand how anyone would say the wife has the toughest 'job'. I am by no means saying this life is easy, but to compare it to the job our husbands do is absolutely ridiculous. While I'm sure it's hard worrying about him and acting as a single mother, at least you get to stay in America and see your child(ren) everyday.

I also can't stand "Air Wife, the silent rank". Um.. last time I checked you didn't sign your name on a line pledging to put your duty and honor of the country before anything else, even your spouse and children. And last time I looked at the rank chart 'Air Wife' wasn't on there. (I know this is from a poem and it is a very nice touching poem, but most women take it too far)

My final pet peeve is when I see women that have magnets on their car that say "Half my heart is in Iraq" (or wherever your husband may be). Really?! You're going to target yourself out in public as a wife that is on her way home, alone, with no one else there with you? That right there is entirely idiotic and you're putting yourself and your family in danger.
