So, it's been awhile..

Well first off, I'm sorry that I've ignored this blog for the past week or so. It's been hectic. Eric was on call this past weekend and had to work all day Sunday and I pretty much stayed at the shop with him while he was there. Eric and I are trying to compromise about my time on the computer. He thinks I spend waaaay too much time on it and while I agree I can cut down I think he's exaggerating a little! :) So.. less time on the computer = less time blogging.

We also talked about it and we're going to try and buy a townhome (or home/condo) when H gets back from deployment. We have a pretty good idea we're going to be here for awhile and well, the price range that we're looking at our mortgage would actually be cheaper than what we're paying in rent, especially if we were to move into a bigger apartment. I'm so excited to be able to call something ours and be able to do upgrades with it and make it how we want it.

I've realized I hate being a teller. It is definitely not something I want to do for the rest of my life. I've worked with people ever since I turned 16, but it's something about when you work with peoples money they are just rude. Flat out fucking rude.. and quite frankly I'm sick of it. I've also realized I need more money.. I need to find a full time job.

I know I'm SO behind on 30 days all about me.. so I don't know if I'm going to keep doing it.. Maybe I'll start it up again tomorrow.

    Yay for buying! That is absolutely fantastic. I'm with you on working with people's money. I did that in high school and people are so inexcusably RUDE.

    So congrats on your decision to buy a home... that is so exciting! Where are you guys living?

    I was a teller for 2 years for wells fargo and hated it! I had to quit... there sales goals are ridiculous and yes the customers think they can be rude because we deal with their money! It cracks me up!

    AFwifey, right now we're in a very very small apartment. Eric is stationed at Macdill AFB in Tampa. It will be a little bit before we can buy, but we need to get all our financial ducks in a row before we try and find a lender.

    OMG I hate hate hate being a teller, between the grumpy old people and the stupid foreigners I'm sick of it. And the sales goals are so stupid! I'm sorry, but my job is to be a teller and the lobby lead person can get people to open shit. Lol! I never realized how entitled most military are when they walk into places.. it amazes me.
