*I think gay marriage should be 100% legal everywhere. Even in the military.
*While I don't agree with abortion (unless raped or other special circumstances) I believe all women should have the right to choose if that is the best option for them. Though, with that said, I believe (yes this is extreme) that there should be a limit of one, yes one, elective abortion in your life (not for rape instances) and if you get knocked up again and want another one you should be forced to give the child up for adoption and then be sterilized. (Told you it was extreme)
*If you are on welfare you should not, I repeat should not, dive a better car than me.
*Again, if you need income restricted housing to survive then your apartment should not be nicer than mine and be less than half the price. Period.
*I 100% believe in spanking. (spanking, not abusing)
*Once you reach a certain age you should have to take your drivers test again.
So there, I stated some of my unpopular opinions and now I ask what are yours?? Everyone has them!

I am all for spanking too. And the welfare I totally agree! You also shouldn't be on welfare if you can afford to spend money on booze and cigarettes.
ReplyDeleteI like your take on abortion - putting a limit and all, but I'm not sure I would make it one per lifetime... I totally get your point though.
ReplyDeleteMy unpopular opinion: Marijuana should be legalized. I've only smoked it a few times in my life (college years in hippy-town UC Berkeley), but I do not see it being worse than alcohol. I would not condone smoking out and driving (obv that is also DUI), but smokin' out a couple times a year for recreation should not be illegal. Marijuana does not harm one's body in the same ways other drugs (meth, ecstacy, etc) including alcohol does.
That's my unpopular opinion :)
I totally agree with everything you said!
ReplyDeleteMy unpopular opinion? I'm not sure if it's an opinion exactly, but lately I've been getting very resentful of the military because it means, to be supportive of my husband, I am pressured/forced to give up my dreams. I truly think, as a military spouse, "compromise" is a one-sided thing for many people.
Talk about COMPLETELY UNPOPULAR OPINION.
