Since I don't have many friends out here and I only work part time I figured I needed stuff to do to pass the time. I emailed a couple rescues asking if they needed volunteers and have yet to hear back from them. Le Sigh. Anyway some of you know I love photography. I found this program through another fabulous blogger called 'You Capture'.
I really think I'm going to do it. It will make me get out of the house and explore. Maybe I'll take Bentley (the Dane) so he can get out too. I'm really excited. I would love to be an OpLove photographer one day.
The other thing I've always wanted to get into, but never found the time (or money) is baking. Like really baking. Well I guess kind of baking and decorating.

Ok, so stuff to do during deployments...my plans had to change because of some outside circumstances so I can't take advantage of it til next year, but have you seen anything about the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts? Basically, the military helps pay for any kind of certification/licensure (EMT, massage therapy, photography, etc.) and maybe that could help fill up some of the time as well as help in a future career!

Other than that? Not sure. I'm thinking about picking up a second, part-time job to keep myself entertained- and to buy all the shoes I can find, of course. :)
Yup! I got on it last year! I did it for my Real Estate license, but unfortunately I didn't finish :( It was stupid on my part for starting it right before a move. I thought about using it for the phlebotomy course I want to do, but I can't get the time off work I need.
